User Account Control เป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่ทำให้ผู้ใช้งาน Windows Vista รู้สึกไม่คล่องตัวในการใช้งาน ยกตัวอย่างเช่น จะปรับแต่งค่าอะไรบางอย่างใน Windows ก็ต้องมี Popup ขึ้นมาเตือนและต้องคลิกปุ่ม Continue เพื่อทำงานต่อ อยู่เรื่อย ๆ ดังรูป

ซึ่งบทความนี้จะขอกล่าวถึงวิธีการปิดการทำงานของ User Account Control ดังกล่าว มีขั้นตอน ดังนี้

1.เปิดหน้าต่าง Control Panel (คลิกที่ Start -> Control Panel)

2.คลิกเลือกที่ User Accounts and Family Safety

3.คลิกที่ User Accounts

4.คลิกที่ Turn User Account Control on or off

5.เอาเครื่องหมายถูกหน้า Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer ออก แล้วคลิก OK
